We depict our endearing sheep as a representation of our community affected by autosomal recessive disorders, such as Sickle cell. For those who may not be familiar with autosomal recessive genetic disorders, it refers to a condition where the presence of two copies of an abnormal gene is necessary for the development of the disease or trait.
